851 Variance Application

The 851 Variance Application accepts on-line varinace applications and tracks them from the initial application, through the management review and decision process, up to and including final approval. The system disseminates 10 CFR 851 Rule information, accepts rule variance applications, checks variance applications for completeness, manages the status of all variance applications throughout the process, and reports the variance application status to all involved parties. The system automatically delivers system-generated emails to applicants and users involved in the review and decision making process. The system also generates MS Word templates for review packages, transmittal packages, denial letters, and other hardcopy printouts. The data that the system collects includes applicant’s information; request status throughout the acceptance, review and decision process; list of events including modifications and decisions, and a history of all modifications and decisions.
