JAG Case Tracking System Abstract

The JAG Case Tracking Website provides the capability for a user to enter and manage Record Of Trial documents. The user may search for a specific document based upon a record number, social security number, first name, last name, or keywords found in the document abstract.

High-level Project Requirements

Allow data-entry personnel to quickly enter information. Edit boxes and list boxes are initialized with default data, user may Tab through fields in a predefined order, data formats are enforced during entry, and individual data fields are validated when entered.

Allow a user to search and locate records based upon a record number, first name, last name, social security number, or keyword found in the document abstract.

Create management reports. Report format and content is based upon existing data and format requirements. Create customized reports based upon user-defined data fields.

Allow a user to generate ad-hoc reports based upon the user's data element selection.

Allow a user to upload and download supporting documents from their desktop, shared drive, or another file system.

Advanced Search Features

Users have the option to search for a specific document based upon a record number, social security number, first name, last name, or keywords found in the document abstract. In this figure, the first column is the document's unique identifier and is also a hyperlink to the document details. The user clicks on the document link and is redirected to the document's source.

Create Predefined and Customized Management Reports

The website has a reporting capability that consists of over 150 customized reports, plus the capability to create ad-hoc reports based upon user-selected criteria. Reports that capture metrics within a timeframe require start and end dates. Predefined reports are efficiently generated with a single mouse click.
